Ask us anything

A typical residential Solaris system runs $14,900 to $26,000 net after the 30% federal tax credit, depending on your roof and energy use. Most homeowners choose $0-down financing with a monthly payment lower than their previous utility bill, so the switch is cash-flow positive from day one.

The on-roof installation for most homes is completed in a single day. The full timeline from signed proposal to switch-on is usually four to eight weeks, since it includes engineering, permitting, utility approval, and final inspection — all of which we manage for you.

A battery isn't required, but it adds two big benefits: backup power during outages, and the ability to store cheap midday solar for use during expensive evening peak rates. In areas with time-of-use billing or frequent outages, storage often pays for itself faster than solar alone.

Your system stays connected to the grid, so you draw power seamlessly whenever your panels aren't producing enough — for example at night. With net metering, the excess energy you export on sunny days earns credits that offset what you pull back later, and a battery can cover the gap entirely.

No. Our NABCEP-certified crews use flashed, code-compliant mounts that seal every roof penetration, and we inspect your roof's condition before installing. All penetrations are covered by our 25-year workmanship warranty against leaks, and panels actually protect the covered area from sun and hail.

You get three layers of 25-year coverage: the panel manufacturer's product and performance warranty, the inverter or microinverter warranty, and our own workmanship and roof-penetration warranty. We also provide a written production guarantee, so if the system underproduces its estimate, we make it right.

Yes. Owned solar systems typically increase a home's resale value and can help it sell faster, since buyers inherit the lower energy bills. Our warranties are transferable to the new owner, and we provide all the documentation needed for the sale and appraisal.
